Nathaniel Swopes Jr.

Founder and CEO of Swopes Athletic Recruiting

Hello! My name is Nathaniel Swopes Jr., and I am a dedicated Physical Education teacher based in Chicago. I founded Swopes Athletic Recruiting and Scouting with the mission of assisting athletes in securing athletic scholarships for college while also providing guidance on obtaining academic scholarships.

At Swopes Athletic Recruiting, we offer comprehensive support to help athletes navigate the complexities of college admissions, including understanding FAFSA requirements and eligibility criteria. Our services are designed to empower athletes not only to find suitable schools but also to successfully transition back into education if needed.

We proudly serve clients all over the world.

If you know any athletes—regardless of their sport—who need assistance with finding a school or transferring institutions or who may be looking to return to school after a break, please feel free to reach out.

Additionally, if you have time, I would greatly appreciate your support by liking and following our page!

Thank you for helping us spread the word about opportunities available for student-athletes!

Quincy Jones

Basketball Scouting and Evaluation Coordinator

Swopes Athletic Recruiting & Scouting is excited to announce the appointment of Quincy Jones as the new Basketball Scouting and Evaluation Coordinator. With his extensive experience in coaching and recruitment, Jones will play a pivotal role in enhancing our services and expanding into new avenues of basketball scouting.

Previously, Jones spent three years with the Joliet Junior College Wolves men's basketball program, where he served as both an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. His contributions were instrumental in leading the Wolves to victory in the 2023 Region IV and District Championships, culminating in their appearance at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.

Jones also has a notable history with Prairie State College (PSC), serving as an assistant women's coach from 2000 to 2019. During his tenure, he helped guide PSC to two conference titles in 2011 and 2013, along with securing the school's first Region IV championship in 2012. Additionally, he played a key role in recruiting Ryan Edwards, who became PSC's only All-American selection.

A graduate of Thornridge High School, Jones proudly served in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm before continuing his athletic career at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (now Omaha University) from 1996 through 1998.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Quincy is married to FaLisa and is a devoted father to three children: Kyra, Quentin, and Teylor. Notably, Quentin is making waves as a star sophomore player at Northern Illinois University.

As owner of Infinite Possibilities Home Inspection Services, Quincy brings a diverse skill set that extends beyond athletics.

Wolves head coach Danny Turner praised him by stating: "Quality person who has a genuine concern for the overall development of student-athletes. He brings sound insight and skill to the recruitment part of our program."

We are thrilled to welcome Quincy Jones to Swopes Athletic Recruiting & Scouting and look forward to leveraging his expertise as we continue our mission to be one of the best recruiting services globally.
